abandoning wordpress for now

i am not going to concentrate on wordpress right now. i understand the concept and procedures on how to use it. frustrated on how the php messed up my static site and need and want to finish my portfolio website. overall design i think works very well. i like working in the html and css. i think i would use wordpress more for clients who would like to update their own site.
